Circe Henestrosa is a Mexican independent fashion curator and is Head of the School of Fashion at the LASALLE College of the Arts in Singapore.
She curated the exhibition Appearances Can Be Deceiving: The Dresses of Frida Kahlo (2012) at The Frida Kahlo Museum in Coyoacán, Mexico. She also co-curated the blockbuster exhibition Frida Kahlo: Making Her Self Up at the Victoria and Albert Museum in London in 2018 and earlier this year she presented the show at the Brooklyn Museum.
She is currently reading for her PhD at London College of Fashion, University of the Arts, focusing on the areas of fashion curation and disability.
Her publications include: Frida Kahlo: Making Her Self Up, Frida by Ishiuchi and Building a New Model for Museums in the 21st Century.
